Women All over the world has expressed their distaste as how they are objectified and put down just because of their gender.
Ariana has joined a large number of celebrities to reminded the world that no woman is a "property/possession" of a man with an Intelligent note she posted on twitter.
She tacitly addressed the manner she has been treated and labeled as "Big Sean Ex" and recently she has been forced to shut down rumours of a budding romance between her and one of the one direction singers Niall Horan in an interview with The Sun saying,"A girl can be friends with someone with dick and not hop on it."
"I'm tired of needing to be linked to a guy. I'm not Big Sean's ex, I'm not Niall's possible girl. I'm Ariana Grande, If that's not enough, then don't talk to me!"
In a short essay the Singer addressed her Fans on twitter telling her fans she wanted to be known an adressed as herself.
"I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man's past, present or future PROPERTY/POSSESSION," Ariana says.
"I... do not belong to anyone but myself, and neither do you."
“If a woman has a lot of sex (or any sex for that matter)… she’s a ‘slut.’ If a man has sex… HE’S. A. STUD. a BOSSSSSS. a KING. If a woman even TALKS about sex openly… she is shamed! But if a man talks or RAPS freely about all the women (or more commonly used ‘b***hes’/’h**s’… how lovely) he’s had, he’s regaled.
"If a woman is seen with a friend with a penis, there is an immediate assumption of romance or sex and she is labeled!!! If a man is seen with a woman… his status is elevated/celebrated. ‘AWW SH*T HE SMASHED!!!!'”
“The double standard and misogyny are ever present,” said Grande. “I can’t wait to live in a world where people are valued not by who they’re dating/married to/attached to, having sex with (or not)/seen with… but by their value as an individual."
Below is the note she posted via twitter....
