PRESIDENTIAL REACTION TOWARDS GAYISM IN GAMBIA

President Yahya Jammeh one of the worlds most quixotic dictators, a man who has ruled his tiny silver of a nation for two decades with an iron fist.


In his public speech to youths in his country about the importance of agriculture recently, he declared his intentions on how he was going to handle the act of homosexuality in Gambia

"If you do it [in Gambia] I will slit your throat," Jammeh said. "If you are a man  and want to marry another man in this country and we catch you, no one will ever set eyes on you again, and no white person can do anything about it."
