FIFA Officials Arrested In Dawn Raid At Zurich

Six FIFA officials were arrested yesterday at a zurich hotel in dawn raid.

The officials arrived yesterday at the hotel called Baur Au Lac hotel.

They were held by the Swiss Police at US department of Justice order over a suspected case of bribery and corruption running into millions of US dollars, said the Swiss authorities.

The New York times reported that police officers in plain clothes took the room keys from the Baur Au Lac hotel reception and headed to the guest room but the operation was handled peacefully.

The FBI and the US department of justice will hold a News conference later.
